Hull and the island face Parliament across the water and hold the federal towers at Place du Portage and the Terrasses de la Chaudière; the Plateau and Mont-Bleu are newer family neighbourhoods up the hill; Aylmer runs west along the river with older houses and long lots; the Gatineau sector spreads east along the A-50. OH! delivers and builds on both sides of the river, with the same fee, the same minimum and the same quote.
A Gatineau delivery crosses at the Portage, the Chaudière, the Macdonald-Cartier or the Champlain bridge, whichever the address and the hour make shortest. Hull and the island sit close to downtown Ottawa, often closer than Kanata or Orléans, so most Gatineau addresses fall comfortably inside the 25 km radius. Delivery and on-site styling are $45 within 25 km. Past that, the charge is quoted for your address before you book.
Place du Portage and the Terrasses de la Chaudière hold thousands of public servants, and a holiday table or a year-end gathering there runs the way a downtown tower does: a security desk that signs suppliers in, sometimes a name submitted ahead, a loading door or a service elevator to book, and a meeting room held for a fixed hour. Send the building, the entrance to use and the name of the person who will meet us, and the arrival time on the quote allows for the sign-in. Up the hill on the Plateau and in Mont-Bleu the housing is newer, with open kitchens, long islands and a garage a few steps from the door, the easiest carry on this page. Aylmer and Deschênes hold older houses on longer lots, some with a dining room sized for a family Sunday and a step or two at the door. The Gatineau sector, Limbour and Touraine run on split-levels and finished basements, where the party often happens downstairs.
